Happy 2015, y'all! I took a brief break from making stuff to enjoy the holidays, do a bit of traveling and recharge the creative batteries. I'm back now (kind of rested) and incredibly excited to be participating in the B'Sue Boutique Build A Line Challenge along with close to 60 other talented jewelry artists. Our goal in the next 3 months is to develop a cohesive line of jewelry. Since I was a bit late to the game, I needed to develop a line that wouldn't be a duplicate to the other artists participating.
My style is all over the place, but after pinning a few pieces to Pinterest, I've discovered the most popular pieces I've done were wine cork ornaments, beaded lanterns and souvenir spoon jewelry. So..
My goal is to make a line using souvenir spoons. I've made a few pieces that will serve as inspiration, but my hope is to make something that you've never seen before. I'm ruminating on what exactly I'll be using with the spoons, but all of it will using supplies from B'Sue Boutiques. I plan to make all kinds of pieces including pins, earrings, bracelets, rings and necklaces of all sorts.
