Between holidays, family matters, workthatpaysthemortgage and well, everything that comes with this time of year, my workroom has traditionally become the dumping ground for all the boxes, mail, and detritus in the house. It's not really surprising since that was the purpose of this room before I turned it into my small studio, but enough was enough. I had to clean or I would never be able to relax and work on some new things. So tonight, I turned on some of my favorite podcasts and went through the tedious job of putting things away. Tomorrow, while everyone else is watching football, I can play! :)
Happy New Year, Y'all!
Here's to a fabulously happy, healthy and prosperous New Year! Pull up a glass of champagne and dip into the Texas Caviar and let's toast 2014! *tink*
This year will be a lot on new adventures for me. Friday, I have some things being sent that will hopefully improve my photography skills and make my jewelry pictures pop! I'll blog my progress and we'll learn together. I plan to apply for a few local jewelry shows and the most exciting news of all is that I plan to start my shop this year on this very website! YAY! *confetti*
It's gonna be baby steps, but it's time to stop procrastinating on this. I have far too many folks asking me if I'm selling to not get started on the business side of this in earnest. By publishing and throwing it out publicly on the intertubenets, I'm basically sealing the deal. Stay tuned and I'm SO excited for the next new year!

I only ended up with one Shiner Kosmos Reserve, so I made a pendant. These are pretty fun!
